Another warm day. It appears the 'coup' launched in Russia by the Wagner Group is over, unfortunately. What will be the longer term consequences?

Really hot sunny day. Went for a cycle ride. It was glorious and thankfully cool at ten mph!

Midsummers eve. The Solstice. I should have gone for a walk down the lane to see the sunset, but I managed to catch it over our road. Next year!

Another walk with Peter in Wincle. This time the heavy rain was not so welcome! Of course, after we had retreated to the pub, the sun came out!

I've tried to make the garden as bee friendly as I can. Not cutting the lawn and allowing the clover to grow, also planting bee friendly flowers. Now we have lots of bees to see!

Went for a walk with my old colleague Mike in Delamere. We went up Old Pale - one of my favourite local walks. We also saw the preparations for the Festival in the Woods. Wish I'd seen Madness there.

Adrian came over, and we went for a trip to Liverpool. A great day out with a visit to Ye Cracke and the Philharmonic. Returning home, we had a good Chinese takeaway with Susie and sat out late in the garden until the thunderstorm started (It's still hot and dry, as it has been for weeks).

A Trip to Knutsford for a U3A meeting. I joined mainly for the Tai Chi. Couldn't resist a crafty pint in the Lord Eldon.

The weather is still lovely, sunny and warm. We went for a walk through the woods and down by the river. The ground is very dry and hard. Hopefully no hosepipe ban.
