Out to Styal for a walk with Peter. We went by Quarry Bank Mill and the River Bollin. Once more lucky with weather. It threatened to rain most of the day, but didn't. Wen in The Ship for a couple of beers and really enjoyed it!

Over the past few days, we have had hundreds of geese flying over the village, all heading westwards.
Met up with Mike in Chester for a walk around the city walls. We were lucky with the weather and visited a few iconic pubs. Great day out!

An eventful week continued with a visit to Brockenhurst to see my aged and fragile stepmother Carol. I stayed over with my stepsister Rachael and her husband Mark. We had a very good curry together. I was pleased that Carol recognized me and we did have a conversation.
Today an easy walk by the River Weaver with my friend Mike. The flooding we had recently in the area has now subsided.
Well, I've managed to fail to post anything on here for about three months, but now I'm off again with a great walk with Peter to Mow Cop in Cheshire, which is near Congleton. It's a great walk. Give it a try!
