Another grand day out. A trip to Wincle with cousin Simon. We walked to Lud's Church and enjoyed a pint at the legendary brewery.

My Birthday! I am now officially a pensioner. Had a lovely walk with Peter along the Weaver.

Celebrating my birthday with Susie, Adrian, and Peter. We went for beers in the local and a curry at the Bombay Quay.

Friday. Susie and I went on one of our favourite local walks to Old Pale in Delamere forest. It was a fine day but the views of Manchester and Liverpool weren't as good as I had hoped because of the haze.

More snow in our garden. There were problems on the road which became an ice sheet. Somebody called the council and eventually, a gritter arrived. Met up with my friend Paul in a local cafe and took a picture of Jodrell Bank from a footpath in the village.

A quick trip to Knutsford with Susie to have a look around Waterstones and do a bit of shopping.

Met up with my friend Adrian at Castle Hill near Huddersfield. We had lunch in the Golden Cock in Farnley Tyas. Only a brief walk because of the heavy rain showers, strong winds, and deep mud! I came here on New years eve - I think it was 1983 with my Dad and friend Paul. It was the year my Mother died. We had a curry and then folk music and beers in the Castle. A great night out that I'll always remember.

A walk with my friend Peter in one of our favourite spots - Wincle. There's a pub, a brewery - serving beer - and half a dozen really good walks. This was by the River Dane. Lovely day!

New Years Eve 2022
We went over to see Anthea, Pete, and their son Simon for the new year. A good time was had by all.

Met up with Stuart & Shelley for the first time since Covid. It was great to see them again.
