4 September 2020

The blog is really slipping at the moment. The fact that I'm not going on holiday or getting out much doesn't help. On the plus side, I've read some excellent books this year and The Book of Tresspass is my book of the year. Nick Hayes trespasses on some of the largest estates in England, and in the process, writes about the theft of common land by the upper classes, much of which was funded by the profits of slavery and empire. An excellent read. Its also beautifully illustrated by the author.
