31 December 2020

When I decided to do a photo diary for 2020 I had no idea what was coming and no idea I'd be spending much of my time indoors, but it's New Year's Eve and my last post of a terrible year. Things have got worse. Hospitals, particularly in the South East are really struggling and cases have exceeded 50,000 per day. The death toll is heading towards 90,000. To add to all this we have covidiots claiming the virus is a hoax.

Despite all the bad things happening around us, we had a great day going for a walk with Anthea and Peter at their place near Sandbach. They have Llamas and Geese, Ducks and Hens. It was a good walk on a chill day.

After a hearty meal, we had a Facetime chat with cousin Simon and his wife Teresa and had a good laugh with them. They have been ill with covid-like symptoms for 6 weeks but have tested negative twice. Thankfully they are on the mend.

Then we had another Facetime chat with Paul and Janet to bring in the New Year. All things considered, it was a good day.

Let's hope next NYE is much better.
