We moved to Pooley Bridge today to Waterfoot Park. This is mainly static holiday homes but there are 25 pitches. It's fairly popular because its close to Pooley Bridge and the M6. People use it as a stopover to and from Scotland.

We had a leisurely drive there via Ambleside and Keswick. Then a walk to Pooley Bridge. It's about a mile on a good footpath with good views of Ullswater.

Pooley Bridge has three pubs, a deli and a number of other shops.
